If you’re reading this, you’re probably feeling like something isn’t working in your life. You might be experiencing depression and anxiety, or you might be having issues with a relationship or feeling alone. Perhaps you can’t put a finger on it, but you know something is off. I’m here to help.

Our work together will first involve developing a trusting relationship. It’s important that you feel comfortable sharing the things that feel concerning for you. Research shows that therapy works best when the relationship between therapist and client is strong.

As you begin to feel more comfortable in our work, I’ll help guide you to manage and understand the thoughts and feelings that are most distressing, confusing, or painful. By gaining a better understanding of the parts causing you distress, it’s possible to experience relief from them and to get your life to a place that works better for you.


A Natural Movement towards Healing

I believe we have in us a natural inclination to heal. In medicine, for instance, doctors set the right conditions to let the body heal. When someone breaks an arm, it may not mend if left on its own, so a cast is used in order to guide the body to heal the arm properly. The same idea can be applied to our mental well-being. Left on its own, our minds may run in directions we don’t want, leading to distress. But with the right support and guidance, your mind can move towards growth and well-being. If you choose to work with me, I will help lead you towards this healing path.
